The casing and tank of the Mihir airwasher are made of FRP-the revolutionary wonder-material of our age. 'Mihirfil', the evaporative media in this airwasher, is yet another distinctive feature. Mihirfil is a specially-designed PVC evaporative pad, in which just one cubic foot of media provides 123 sq. ft of evaporative surface, for very high saturation efficiency. |

| Compact light-weight design |
|
The standard depth of the Mihir airwasher in the direction of airflow is 700 mm only. The all-weather FRP construction of the airwasher makes it particularly adaptable to roof-top applications. PVC water distribution system replaces heavy spray-tree piping. |

| No water carryover |
|
The intricate and intimate water distribution system provides the necessary water-to-air contact, to attain exceptionally high efficiency in cooling in a short space. As water droplets are not atomised in the air-stream, they will not leave the surface of the media and become airborne.

| Low air and water pressure drops |
|
Mihirfil media is self-cleaning and will not build up static pressure. Normal pressure drops are a fraction of 1" W.G. With spray nozzles and very simple piping system, pump-head requirements are usually much less than 20 feet. |

| Smaller capacity pump and low operating cost |
|
Large eveporative surface area of honeycomb PVC Mihifil reduces water circulation rate to 30% of conventional systems, thus needing a very small size pump, resulting in low power consumption. Hence, operating cost is low. |

| Low maintenance cost |
|
Absence of spray-tree piping, inlet baffles, eliminator plates and frequent media changes reduces maintenance cost.
